| ABOUT THE 3MUGIS SCHOOL The 3MUGIS Summer School is an event dedicated to the study of the ecological, anthropogenic, and social processes of urbanization and their impact on soil functions. It also provides a platform for interaction, the development of scientific and educational collaborations, and networking among like-minded individuals and all those interested in the development of urban green infrastructure. During the school, participants will be introduced to methods for studying the properties of urban ecosystems, urban farming technologies, rapid analysis of heavy metal content in soils, modern technologies, and various conceptual approaches to urban green infrastructure—from the analysis of urban areas to the pore space in soil samples. School participants will attend lectures and master classes from leading global experts in urban ecology, soil science, landscape design, and planning. Participants will then form interdisciplinary teams to prepare and present their projects under the guidance of the school's curators. The 3MUGIS school was organized by the Department of Landscape Design and Sustainable Ecosystems and the Smart Urban Nature Research Center of the RUDN University Institute of Agrarian and Technological Sciences. | |
